NTW LOC held a WOPEC Glaucoma 2 OSCEs on
Sunday 29th March 2026.
The event took place at the Optometry Department, Newcastle Eye Centre, RVI. Future dates will be arranged.
To complete the OSCEs you must first have completed the Glaucoma WOPEC course.

WOPEC training
WOPEC provides CPD education courses for Optometrists in most areas of practice: Glaucoma, Cataracts, AMD, Low Vision, MOLES, Hydroxycholoquine and MECS. These are funded by LOCSU on behalf of the LOCs.
This is implemented mainly through distance learning. If you would like to access a course, a code to access study material can be requested by optometrists in the NTW area from the Committee by contacting Claire Fleming. Email: claire@thompson-opticians.com
