19 January 2022

WOPEC and LOCSU are holding another free virtual peer discussion around LOCSU’s clinical pathways on Monday 7th February starting at 6.30pm.  It is 90 minutes long and has 3 CET points.  This event is provided for Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians represented by LOCs across England.

Virtual peer discussion comprising three clinical cases from primary eye care practice (acute eye care, learning disabilities, low vision). Each case will feature aspects of LOCSU Clinical Pathways, such as Children’s Vision, Integrated Cataract, Minor Eye Condition and Glaucoma Referral Filtering and Monitoring.

The session encourages reflection on how best to use extended primary eye care services in your region to deliver excellent care to your patients. Cases have been kindly provided by various LOC members. Session facilitators will be practitioners from LOCSU and WOPEC. Attendee numbers will be capped at 6 maximum per group to allow good interaction with your peers. CET points have been approved for 3 interactive peer discussion points.
