NCL Optometry-led community Eye Care Service

Primary Eye Care Services (PES) have been awarded a contract in NCL to provide services in Minor Eye Conditions, Pre and Post Cataract assessment, Glaucoma Repeat Readings and Medical Retina and Enhanced Imaging.

NCL Service Practice Fees

MECS assessment: £51 (includes any follow ups required within 3 months)

Pre Cataract Assessment: £32

Post Cataract Assessment: £43

Glaucoma Repeat Readings:  £51 (for completed patient pathway)

Medical Retina: £55 (For completion of referral form and uploading volumetric OCT)
