Hampshire and Isle of Wight: CUES Extension
December 2025
Primary Eyecare Services are pleased to confirm that the Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES) contract in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight has been renewed for a further 12 months.
Earlier this year, the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB) had indicated that CUES would not continue beyond 31 December 2025. This position has now changed, meaning the service will remain in place in its current format until at least 31 December 2026.
Practices are asked to continue delivering CUES as usual. While the longer-term future of the service is still under discussion, updates will be shared as soon as further information is available.
We would like to thank all practices and practitioners for their continued collaboration in providing CUES, and for their patience as we await further clarity on the ICB’s intentions for the service.
