Glaucoma Referral Refinement (GRR)

If you are registered with a GP within Oxfordshire and your Optometrist detects certain signs that may indicate Glaucoma, then you may be referred to a specially trained local optometrist for further tests rather than having to be referred to hospital. These further tests will determine if you need to be referred or can safely continue with routine eye care in the community. This means fewer unnecessary hospital visits, shorter waits for those who need specialist treatment, and quicker reassurance for everyone else.
