Primary Eye Care Services would like to invite you to their CPD webinar event on Monday 7th September 2026 from 7.00pm
This will be a re-run of the session that they held on 14th July.
“Quality in Enhanced Eye Care Services: External Processes Discussion Workshop”
3 Interactive points for Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians. C116494
The discussion workshop will explore the complexities of patient safety within enhanced eye care services.
Using three real-world case studies, the session will examine external processes that can contribute to patient safety risks, considering both systemic and individual factors. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Reflect on their own referral practices
- Explore common challenges and risks
- Discuss practical strategies for improvement
- Identify actions that support safer, more consistent patient care
- Consider how these issues relate to the GOC Standards of Practice
Prior to the session please ensure that you:
- Register and join using one device per person
- Join from a laptop or desktop computer where possible for a more reliable connection during breakout room discussions
- Test your camera and microphone beforehand, as both are required for participation during breakout room discussions
