Surrey LOC

Surrey LOC is the statutory body set up by the NHS to support all optical professionals delivering NHS services under the GOS contract in Surrey.

The LOC represents local optometrists, dispensing opticians and contractors who deliver NHS services and liaises with local ICBs, commissioners, hospital Trusts and other stakeholders, with the aim to enhance eye care provision locally through shared care schemes and local enhanced and GOS services.

ICB Changes from 1st April 2026

As part of the NHS Transformation there is to be some restructuring, the Frimley ICB is to be dissolved with areas of Surrey Heath, Frimley and Farnham being incorporated into Surrey Heartlands ICB.
