Free D/deaf Awareness Training:
Free D/deaf Awareness training is now available to via Boost. Membership to the Boost community is open to anyone with an interest in driving forward change in health and care in the North East and North Cumbria. This includes people working in the NHS, local authorities, public health, voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE), people with lived experience, private sector providers and many more. Instructions have been sent to Contractors to help Performers (optometrists) send referrals and communications to GP via NHS mail. Sent Feb 2024. Please remember these should be sent from practice SHARED MAIL BOXES were possible (rather than personal NHS mail addresses) or EGRESS for those who do not have access to NHS mail accounts.
