  1. Updated PHE guidance
    NHS E&I have issued an email, “GW3360 – FOR INFORMATION: Updated PHE guidance on NHS staff and student self-isolation and return to work following COVID-19 contact“. You may have already received but we have repeated the contents HERE, in case it was missed or not received. Any queries relating to this update should be sent to: england.spocskh@nhs.net 
  2. Vacancy for Optometrist

  3. Research Project Help Request
    We have received a request for help from an Optometrist working towards a professional doctorate in optometry from London South Bank University. He says “The research project is on vision in pregnancy and the research team would like to recruit a cohort of pregnant women to participate in the project. The project is looking at experiences of vision and visual acuity, in each trimester, during pregnancy and after birth.” Further details can be found below.
  4. LOCSU News
    Their August newsletter can be found HERE, including “GOS contract management functions to move to Integrated Care Boards from April 2022” and “LOCSU’s Interim Clinical Director is named Vice Chair of the CCEHC”.
