SpaMedica Coventry Opening

SpaMedica have opened a brand new hospital in Coventry Tile Hill in July 2020, where they are now accepting referrals for cataracts, YAG laser and wet amd.
Optometrists can refer their cataract patients for pre-operative assessment for cataract extractions as well as YAG laser for posterior capsular opacification. Post-operative appointments for cataract extractions are then performed by community optometrists who have been accredited by SpaMedica. Patients are asked to go back to the practice who originally made the referral. Please contact Amanda Jones at SpaMedica on amanda.jones@spamedica.co.uk directly for any questions regarding accreditation.
SpaMedica has also been commissioned by the local CCG to see WET AMD patients.
