REGO update

Dear All,
For practices who see patients with a West Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire GP.
The NHS locally has decided that from 1/9/23 we need to refer non-urgent patients directly using the platform ‘REGO’. Most practices now have access to the platform. To help monitor and plan for a more efficient NHS, they require all non-urgent referrals to go through the platform. This way they can see where there is a need for service enhancements and provision. GPs have been instructed to return ophthalmic referrals to optometrists or dispensing opticians if the referral goes to them in error.
