The Annual General Meeting of Wiltshire Local Optical Committee will take place on:

Wednesday 13th May 2026
The Bear Hotel, Devizes, SN10 1HS

We are pleased to confirm that this year’s AGM will be returning to The Bear Hotel, Devizes, and we warmly invite all local contractors and performers to attend.

Evening Programme

  • 6:30pm – Networking and buffet
  • 7:00pm – AGM
  • 7:30pm – CPD education event
(Details and number of CPD points to be confirmed)

This format provides an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues, engage with LOC business, and benefit from a CPD learning session to round off the evening.

Why Attend?

The AGM is your chance to:

  • Hear about Wiltshire LOC’s activities and achievements over the past year
  • Learn about future plans to support local optical services
  • Understand how the LOC represents contractors and performers locally
  • Connect with colleagues across Wiltshire in a relaxed setting

All contractors and performers are welcome, and you do not need to be a committee member to attend.
Those who are curious about the work of the LOC are very welcome to attend any LOC meeting as observers to gain a better understanding of how the committee supports local services and professional standards.

Join the Wiltshire LOC Committee

We are always keen to welcome new voices and fresh perspectives onto the Wiltshire LOC Committee.

Joining the committee is a rewarding way to:

  • Help shape and improve local optical services
  • Contribute to raising standards of care
  • Support initiatives that improve the eye health of our local community
  • Represent the views of colleagues across Wiltshire

If you are interested in standing for a committee position, please complete the Nomination Form here and return it by the 22nd April 2026.
