1. Review of Common Macular Diseases

This session will provide a comprehensive review of the most common macular diseases encountered in everyday practice, alongside principles of OCT diagnosis and treatment. Topics include:
- Wet AMD
- Drusen
- Dry AMD & geographic atrophy
- Retinoschisis
- Macular hole & lamellar macular hole
- Cystoid macular oedema
- Central serous retinopathy
2. Mastering Vitreoretinal Pathology Assessment in Community Optometry
Date & Time: Tuesday 25 November 2025, 6.30pm – 8.00pm
Location: Online via Teams

Course Overview:
This advanced session will equip optometrists with the skills to assess and distinguish between common vitreoretinal pathologies in community practice. Attendees will learn to:
- Confidently utilise advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Identify specific characteristics and presentations of vitreoretinal conditions.
- Enhance patient care through precise and informed evaluations.
