Committee Meeting 2026:
Walsall LOC committee meetings are usually held 4–5 times a year and are open to local contractors and performers (optometrists and dispensing opticians) to attend as observers. If you would like to attend a meeting, please contact the Secretary at reena.walsall.loc@gmail.com
The meetings provide a forum to discuss key issues affecting the local optical community and play an important role in the ongoing development and improvement of NHS eye care services.
Next Committee Meetings dates are:
- Tuesday 10 February 2026 – Online
- Tuesday 15 September 2026 – Online
- Tuesday 17 November 2026 – Online
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
AGMs often include a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session. Our next AGM will be held on 16th June 2026.
Further details will be shared at least 14 days before the meeting date.
Committee Elections
Each year, one-third of the committee is elected at the AGM. If you are interested in standing for election, please email our Secretary at reena.walsall.loc@gmail.com

- One seat is vacant and open to a contractor.
- Three seats are held by members seeking re-election.
