Welcome to the website of Walsall Local Optometric Committee. We are the organisation representing General Ophthalmic Service(GOS) contract holders and optometrists and dispensing opticians performing GOS in Walsall, and we liaise with local NHS bodies on matters relating to eye-care.

Wave-3 for all practices in Walsall went live on 22nd May 2024. For more information see EeRS referrals. From June you will be able to offer your patients a choice of hospital by selecting a hospital from the choices provided to you. More options will become available as all the hospitals become live.

Walsall Wave-1 practices went live on 17th April 2024, Wave-2 was live on 1st May 2024 and all other Walsall practices will be live in Wave-3 on the 15th May 2024. For more information see EeRS referrals.
