Latest referral guidance for suspected WET AMD

The NE London Ophthalmology & Eyecare Board has been working on a consistent wet AMD referral pathway for the whole of London with the agreement of a pan-London referral template. Both Queens, Whipps Cross, local commissioning and optometry representatives have been a part of this work.
NE London ICS is one of the first areas to be moving forward with this.
The new referral guidance for suspected wet AMD to be followed is now detailed below.
Please follow the link below for latest guidance on how to refer suspect WET AMD patients to either Whipps Cross Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust) or Queens Hospital (Barking, Havering and Redbridge Hospital NHS Trust).
Forms should be downloaded and advice followed via the link.
