Optegra have launched a new portal for their CET webinars. Further details and the link can be found on the flyer they have provided, at the end of this newsletter.

      They have also advised that:
“Our Colindale hospital is now solely focussed on NHS cataract surgery. This has streamlined the process, with referral to consultation times just taking a few days, with surgery a week later. Even on surgery day, patients will only be expected to be in the hospital for around 1 hour, so carers that may have driven in will not be hanging around for long.

On that note, when social distancing restrictions end we shall be providing a patient transport service to the hospital. Any practitioners who are keen to offer this to patients, please contact me at paul.yaxley@optegra.com and we can arrange a regular pick up for that area.”
