Optometrists Accounts of Communicating with People With Aphasia (PWA) : A Qualitative Study

Please see below a request from a Speech and Language Therapy student for optometrists to assist with her research project as part of her degree.

My name is Poppy Berringer and I am a third year Speech and Language Therapy student currently studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

I am contacting you today as I am conducting a research project as part of my degree, entitled ‘Optometrists Accounts of Communicating with People With Aphasia (PWA) : A Qualitative Study’.  Optometrists must be qualified and working in the UK with clinical experience of working with people with aphasia. They must not have a communication disorder themselves.

Laser Vision  Corneal Dystrophies CPD Event – 09 November 2023

Laser Vision Corneal Specialist Mr Nick Maycock is delighted to invite you to an evening CPD event on Thursday 9^th November at the NAAFI Cafe in Winchester.  Drop in from 6pm to catch up with colleagues, have a drink and some snacks, then from 6.30pm join Nick as he demystifies Corneal Dystrophies and takes you through modern management options (including DSEK vs DMEK) when medical intervention is needed.

There will also be plenty of time for a stimulating discussion and to ask questions.
1 interactive CPD point will be available.
