SpaMedica – Eye hospital now open in Wokingham

We’re delighted to announce that our new state-of-the-art hospital in Wokingham is now open, providing NHS Ophthalmology Services including Cataract Surgery and YAG Laser Capsulotomy.

The hospital has now been inspected by CQC and approved to start offering Ophthalmology Services to NHS patients from immediate effect.

We are now accepting referrals and our current waiting times for NHS patient appointments and surgeries are 1 to 2 weeks.Please be assured we have taken many steps within all our patient pathways, to ensure the utmost safety for both patients and staff in these current circumstances – click here for full details of our additional safety measures.

We work in partnership with community optometrists, with over 30,000 cataract post-op appointments managed by our community optometrists each year.

The main benefits of our accreditation scheme and patient services:
