Welcome to North Cumbria LOC Website

North Cumbria LOC is the official organisation which represents Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians in our area.

The main role of our LOC is to work with local NHS commissioners to make community eye care services accessible to patients and cost effective for the NHS.

The objective of this website is to provide eye care practitioners and other health care professionals including the public, with information about all aspects of eye care and its accessibility.

New members are always welcome and help and support is always readily available from us should you need it.

Our next LOC meeting is on January 15th 2025 and we will take place On Line.

We are pleased to welcome Michelle Dinsdale, who is our new Glaucoma Consultant. Michelle will give an introduction at the meeting.

We look forward to as many people attending as possible and everyone as usual is most welcome.
