Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme has moved from CET,  bringing optical professionals in line with other healthcare industries, and allows optical professionals to tailor their learning and development to their interests and scope of practice.

With the continuation of 3-year cycles and the same points quota, the new CPD scheme allows greater flexibility and covers a greater breadth of professional skills, aligned to the standards of practice
