The Derbyshire Local Optical Committee (DLOC) was formed in March 2008 following the reorganisation of NHS Primary Care Trusts and as of April 2013 represents Optometrists to the NHS England Local Area Team and the Derby and Derbyshire ICB.
The Member’s area is now operational. The minutes of the Committee meetings are there. Please follow the instructions and you will get an invitational email after a few days.
The next meeting is the Committee Meeting in January at 7.00pm. This is a virtual event. Apologies to the Secretary please.

Chalazion and Meibomian cyst referrals now live via Eyecare eRS for optoms Optometrists are now able to refer patients directly for Chalazion and Meibomian cysts to University Hospital Derby and Burton and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
