ACES are delighted to have launched our “A Day in the Life” Programme, offering qualified, GOC-registered optometrists the chance to shadow experienced ACES employed optometrists in the cataract surgery / outpatient pathway and earn up to 4 CPD Points over a half day (4 hours).
Participants will gain first-hand experience in cataract surgery, observing surgical procedures, pre-operative, and post-operative consultations, and working with advanced diagnostic technology. The programme is available across ACES treatment centres nationwide, providing a valuable opportunity for professional growth in the field of eye care
