As professionals we can all help ensure that every child, young person and adult is protected from those who may abuse them.
As well as carrying out profession-led safeguarding training for children and adults (which can be signposted by your governing bodies) and putting in place procedures to raise and discuss safeguarding concerns with your relevent colleagues in an appropriate manner, you have the duty of care to escalate these concerns if necessary.
