WOPEC Event 23rd April York

North Yorkshire LOC are pleased to announce an evening of WOPEC assessments are available to book.

 

We have arranged a mix of assessment/workshop opportunities based on the feedback received at as close to a central location as possible.

 

Initially bookings will open for North Yorkshire optometrists only, who the LOC are pleased to confirm will be funded by the LOC. There will be a £50 cancellation fee for any cancellation within 48 hours where we can not backfill the space.

Please reply via email (northyorkshireloc@gmail.com) stating:

  • Name
  • GOC number
  • Name/Address of optometry practice in North Yorkshire where you work
  • Confirmation you hold level 1 WOPEC MECS/Glauc if applying for level 2 OR specifically request code for level 1. Please note level 1 must be completed 48 hours prior to sitting level 2.
  • Confirmation you hold MECS level 2 (or are sitting the assessment on the night) if you wish to attend the FB workshop. Otherwise the FB workshop has no prior work and is CPD accredited.

  • Which part(s) of the event you with to attend [Glauc/MECS/FB]
Please note all bookings on a first come, first served basis. If all places fill we will start a cancellation list and consider another event later in the year. If you need to cancel for unexpected reasons, please provide as much notice as possible as we expect to be oversubscribed. Please note your place is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation reply.
