📘 Session One (2 CPD Points): OCT Interpretation – An Ophthalmologist’s View
For: Optometrists and Specialty Optometrists (AS/SP/IP)
A practical, case-based session exploring OCT interpretation over time, identifying structural changes, and understanding how these influence management decisions.

Identify and interpret structural OCT changes to monitor disease progression
Apply OCT findings confidently to clinical decision-making
Enhanced interpretation guidance for specialty optometrists
👁️ Session Two (1 CPD Point): Common Vitreoretinal Conditions – A Primary Care Perspective
For: Optometrists
A focused update on common vitreoretinal presentations, referral urgency, and patient communication, supported by real clinical examples.
Key learnings:
Recognise five common vitreoretinal conditions and when urgent referral is required
Understand indications and outcomes of vitreoretinal surgery for effective patient counselling

The Continued Professional Development (CPD) claim window for 2025 is now open. The payment for continuing professional development, undertaken between 1 January to 31 December 2024 by Optometrists, will remain at £596.
