Thank you to everyone who came along to our AGM and CPD event on Wednesday evening. It was great to see so many local Optometrists and DO’s engaging with their local Optometry community.
A big thank you to our presenters, Mohammed Bhuta from LOCSU, Naomi Smith from PES, Simon Raw from the AOP and particularly Nikon for the fantastic peer review session.
Following the AGM, we are pleased to announce we have 2 new committee members joining the team.
Our next committee meeting is on Tuesday 14th July.

New Eye Hospital Details for Sunderland
Sunderland Eye Infirmary is moving to a new site and is now going to be named Sunderland Specialist Eye Hospital. The address is as follows: Sunderland Specialist Eye Hospital Plater Way Sunderland SR1 3AE The optometry department is relocating in the week beginning 20/7/26.
