Dorset LOC is hosting a CPD study day on Sunday 26th April 2026, at Hotel Collingwood, Bournemouth (11 Priory Rd, Bournemouth BH2 5DF).

We have a limited number of places for this event and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
The event will run from 9:30 to 16:30, lunch, snacks and drinks (tea and coffee) will provided throughout the day.
CPD points have not been confirmed but we are hoping to have in excess of 10 provider led points on the day for both DOs and Optometrists and specialist points, with interactive points available. Full details will be released closer to the event.

Mr Harry Tossounis – Consultant Ophthalmologist at UHD and Nuffield Bournemouth – Vitreoretinal, Medical Retina and Cataract Surgeon – 1 lecture + quiz
Essilor – Dry eye + Lifestyle dispensing
Alcon – Contact lenses + TBC

There is no cost to attend however if you book and subsequently do not attend, then you will be charged £15 if you do not give at least 48 hours notice.
The information collected will be held by Dorset LOC. Your name, GOC number and email address may be shared with our CPD provider partners (LOCSU, Essilor, Alcon) for the purpose of issuing CPD certificates only.
