Important Notice – Corneal Service in Dorset
8 June 2025
There have been some changes to the corneal service at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. As Mr Rashid has left RBH, Mr Turnbull will be taking over the service and there are plans to recruit a second corneal consultant to replace Mr Rashid soon.
As such, it is expected there will be a delay in appointment times due to the increased workload this will create, and a change in care for some patients. This may be useful information to relay to your patients. Please continue to refer patients as normal.
