DCH Pause New Referrals To Paediatric Ophthalmology Service
14 February 2025
Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s Ophthalmology department has paused accepting new referrals into the Paediatric Ophthalmology service, due to a vacancy within with consultant workforce.
This does not include Orthoptist and Optometrist led care and these referrals can continue to be accepted.
Referrals requiring a Paediatric Ophthalmologist opinion/ advice/ review, should be referred to UHD Ophthalmology Service for care, until further notice.
