GOS Grant – March ‘top up’

This is information we have received regarding the March GOS Grant ‘top up’ payment from NHSE.
- This is effective from March 2020, with average monthly payments commencing in May 2020 until further notice (payments are made retrospectively). May payments will also contain an adjustment to top up any GOS claims submitted for March 2020 to the value of the average monthly claims. Therefore, April activity will be paid in May, but March will also be paid in May via a top up to the average monthly payment. So for example, if the average monthly payment is £2000, and during the 2 weeks in March before the lockdown was introduced £500 of GOS activity was completed, the top up payment will be £1500 (paid in May). March is the only month that requires an adjustment.
