This service is for conditions not requiring surgical intervention and is particularly suitable for patients with ocular hypertension and suspect COAG.  Click on the link below for lists of conditions that should and should not be referred to HealthHarmonie and how referrals can be made.  Patients can also be referred directly from the PES MECS and/or IOP repeat measures services.

Also holds NHS general ophthalmology clinics able to accept referrals for visual defects, external eye problems, eye lid disease ocular plastics, minor ops (lumps and bumps) keratoconus (including collagen cross linking), macula disease.  Often able to arrange appointments at short notice.

NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT referrals for glaucoma, visual field problems, optic nerve damage or any acute conditions.

Focus Birmingham

For patients with low vision Focus Birmingham is able to provide many services from supply of low vision aids to home visits to assess the patients requirements and to train them in the use of their LVAs
