RBHT Post Cataract Service – Update and Missing Pins
19 May 2021
If you have completed the Opera registration and have your Medisoft account access, hopefully you will have seen your cataract surgery patients starting to return to your practice for their post cat checks. Please note that the post-op check guidelines are unchanged – the patient should be seen 4-6 weeks after surgery. The double entry onto Medisoft is short term until the two systems are fully integrated.
If you still need to complete your registration for an Opera account to be able to offer this service, you can find the registration details here.
If you need to register for a Medisoft account or are having issues with your existing account, please get in touch with Medisoft directly:
Optometrists can ring the Medisoft support desk on 0113 347 2020. You can ask for the e-mail prompt to be resent or for the providers on your account to be updated. (ie: SpaMedica and RBHT)
If you need a reminder of how to input the patient on to the Opera system, the please see the attached step by step guide:
MISSING PIN
If you have a patient who presents without their discharge letter/pin, please get in touch with Lucy Floyd or Mandeep Panesar at the Royal Berks who will be able to help you.
